I first met Frank (Dionysus) when shooting “Adonis” in Taiwan, and he did some divine stills for the film. We’ve been collaborating thereafter. I met William earlier, when he was still an incredibly shy guy returning to Hong Kong for vacation, and I lobbied him to appear in my film when we’re both back to Sydney. I don’t know how long it took him to decide but he went to gym right away. The transformation surprised even his closest friends and he became the darling of top Asian photographers including Leslie Kee. Moto (Yi Zhao) came to our premiere almost naked to show his support and I am more than happy to support his cause of legalising public nudities. Daring artists like them add colours to the otherwise very dull world
